Casino testing methodology: how we review and rank

Colanquan’s casino testing methodology starts with licensing, player protection and payments. The six criteria below explain what we check, how we set priorities and when we revise a recommendation.

What matters most in our casino reviews?

We review all nine casinos against six criteria. Licensing and player protection together account for 40%, our largest priority group, followed by payments at 25% and bonus conditions at 20%.

Licensing and player protection: 40%

  • Licence and exact domain 20%

Match the entity, licence number, exact domain and current status. A matching brand name alone does not establish coverage.

  • Player protection 20%

Examine limits, self exclusion and complaint routes. Credit only evidenced functions; a licence does not replace testing the tools.

  • Deposits, verification and withdrawals 25%

Review currency, methods, limits and the whole wait including verification. One withdrawal is not a guarantee for every account.

  • Wagering and bonus conditions 20%

Compare the wagering basis, game contribution, completion window, stake limits and transfer or withdrawal caps.

  • Games and live tables 10%

Check actual games, studios and account scope. A named lobby does not prove every table is available or bonus eligible.

  • Usability and support 5%

Consider mobile navigation, language and support. Separate an observed response from advertised service hours.

These are editorial priorities adopted on 16/10/2026, not casino scores or probabilities of safety. Display order follows the Vietnam partner lineup and is not calculated from these weights.

Why are the casinos in this order?

Display order follows the Vietnam partner lineup. Recommendation labels describe reader fit based on each casino’s record. Position is not a safety score; bonus conditions, payments and limitations are assessed separately.

How we check licences

We compare the legal entity, exact domain and licence status against the regulator’s records, recording the source and check date. Missing or conflicting information is recorded separately so readers can see the limits of each check.

How do the weights guide the review?

Licensing at 20% and player protection at 20% form a 40% safety group. Payments carry 25%, bonus terms 20%, games 10%, and usability and support 5%. These are editorial priorities, not scores certifying a casino as safe.

This framework applies from 16/10/2026. Earlier test records retain their original context and are not presented as having followed the new framework.

From evidence to a useful recommendation

  1. Start with licensing and player protection

Match the exact domain, status and entity; look for evidence about limits, self exclusion and complaints. Distinguish operator claims from independent confirmation.

  2. Follow the full payment journey

Check the currency and market, and keep verification beside arrival time. The five detailed test records retain their amounts, methods and limits.

  3. Read the conditions before the bonus amount

Match the deposit stage, wagering basis, contributing games, deadline and caps. Use worked examples to explain wagering volume, not to predict profit.

  4. Make a recommendation with limits

Lê Thanh Tùng personally tests all nine casinos; Phạm Văn Hiếu checks the content. The recommendation must reflect strengths and unresolved points. An unknown fact cannot become a claim of safety.

How do we choose the order and recommendation labels?

Display order follows the Vietnam partner lineup and is not calculated from the review weights. Recommendation labels are editorial judgements about currency, payments, games and bonus conditions that suit the reader, not third party awards.

An unresolved fact does not count as an advantage. When current evidence changes, we revisit the recommendation rather than preserving a conclusion solely because an earlier test went well.

Who reviews and who checks the work?

Lê Thanh Tùng examines test records, terms and usability. Phạm Văn Hiếu checks numerical consistency, wording and recommendations before an update. Reviewing documents and testing transactions are separate activities.

How do we record evidence?

Each transaction is read alongside its method, amount, verification steps and outcome. Transfer time is not substituted for total withdrawal time. A lobby screenshot supports the recorded interface, not a claim that money was received.

For bonuses, we check currency, eligibility, deposit amount, wagering basis, game contribution, cashout limits and deadlines. Calculations are labelled as examples and kept separate from observed results.

When do we update a review?

Changes to offers, payments, domains or licence status trigger a check of the relevant material. A source check date does not turn an old transaction into a new test. We do not invent a transaction date where the record lacks one.

Questions about our review process

How much priority does safety receive?

40%: licensing receives 20% and player protection 20%. They remain separate checks so a licence does not replace examination of player protection tools.

Does the largest bonus rank first?

No. Display order follows the partner lineup, not bonus size. Recommendations separately consider eligibility, payments and the reader’s needs.

Does every review mean a real money transaction test?

No. We distinguish transaction test records from analysis of terms and catalogues. Only documented outcomes are presented as recorded experience.
